Stage 2: Set-Up Equipment
Follow the steps below, and you’ll be up and running in no time!
STEP #1: Get your hardware ready
- Windows PC with Windows 10, version 1909 or higher. How to Update Windows 10
- High speed internet access, with minimum speeds of 10mb/sec. upload and 5mb/sec. download. You can check your internet speed here: https://www.speedtest.net/
- Broadband modem or router with an ethernet cord connected to your PC. How to Connect PC to Modem with Ethernet Cable
- Turn ON Windows Defender for Protection: How To Turn ON Windows Defender
- Remove/uninstall any 3rd-party Anti-Virus software. (i.e. McAfee, Norton, Avast): Uninstall or remove apps and programs
- USB Headset
STEP #2: Get your Alorica apps ready
- Download and Install Microsoft Teams: CLICK HERE!
- Download and Install Adobe Connect: CLICK HERE!
- Set up Multi-Factor Authentication: Watch this Video!
- Your Alorica Log-ins will be sent to your personal email
STEP #3: Review the Welcome Email with your Journey Map, and get ready for Stage 3: Get Connected!
At NO time will Alorica ask for $$$ prior to you starting with us. Be aware of scammers out there. Alorica does withhold a deposit when we ship computers to our employees.
This deposit is promptly returned upon receipt of returned equipment.
